"Combined with our recent Grammy nominations -- including Alice In Chains, who BMG has on both sides, recordings and publishing -- we're continuing to make huge strides in records while maintaining our strength and position in publishing," said BMG's Thomas Scherer, soon to enter his new role as evp, repertoire and marketing, Los Angeles, in a statement. "This is just yet another great example of raising the bar and working together as one. We congratulate all our artists and songwriters on yet another incredible achievement!"
